At Martyn Gerrard we know that the better the training we provide our team, the better they are at their job.

From the moment a new employees joins Martyn Gerrard time and effort is put into showing and teaching, not only what an estate agent needs to do, but most importantly the MG way of doing things. Each new member of the team is allocated an experienced mentor to help make sure they have all the support they need to succeed. 

In addition to the on the job training, Martyn Gerrard provides regular classroom sessions. These cover many aspects of our work, from legislation to selling technics as well as Management and Leadership coaching for those in more senior roles. Many of the training sessions are initiated by team members themselves, who have indicated ideas and areas for further development. 

Our staff members are required to be members the NAEA Propertymark or ARLA Propertymark. We believe this is a key part in creating a professional team that can provide and outstanding service and customer experience. We help our people to learn for the required exam and finance it. 

To support our employees’ career aspirations, every year with your manager you will prepares a development plan. Together you will agree what your aims and goals are, and identify the resources and skills needed to attain them.  Your action plan will allow you to monitor your progress.
